Our latest short animation Mr. Mare (Lidérc úr) will have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February! Luca Tóth new film is a surreal animated chamber play, set in a ‘haunted’ claustrophobic space, in which we witness the dynamics of unrequited love as we follow the relationship of an oddly codependent pair.

The film was entirely made at our very own Boddanim Studio in Budapest.

Our third animation is finished and recently had its world premiere at the Friss Hús Budapest Short Film Festival! ‘The Fall of Rome’ is a 23-minute post-apocalyptic animated fantasmagorie, and we are very proud of it.

Written, designed and directed by Balázs Turai, the short animation was co-produced with Croatia’s Adriatic Animation. From Boddah’s part, the producers were Péter  Benjámin Lukács and Gábor Osváth.

Réka Wins at Berlinale!

The first-ever American stand-up comedy show in Hungary

Louis C.K.

Boddah was proud to present Louis C.K. to the Hungarian audiences, as the popular American stand-up comedian took the stage on August 27th at the Budapest Congress Centre.

It has been a show 3 and a half years in the making as we first reached out to Louie's management in 2013 and it finally became a reality when we were able to announce it just two weeks prior to the show. Nonetheless all 2000 tickets were sold within 24 hours. Louis C.K.'s performance marks the first time an American stand-up comedian took the stage in Hungary.
